I was looking at all the posts, and I have come to the conclusion that I am a horrible mother. It seems as if my third child doesn't exist. Well I am going to remedy that with a post devoted to him.
He is an awesome kid! Around 6 months he started getting teeth and I thought that maybe one or two would pop out. Oh no, 7 (yes 7) all at once. You would never have known it though because he didn't really make a fuss at all. About a month later number 8 came through. They are gappy and HUGE, but it makes him all that much cuter. He always has a willing smile to anyone who will give him the smallest amount of attention.
Around the same time that he started getting all those teeth he started crawling. At first he was pretty slow and he mostly got up and did a lot of nose plants, but he soon got the hang of it and never looked back. He loves to climb the stairs now and the other day he was standing by himself. I know the end is quickly approaching. :)
The kid is a MONSTER eater. I don't know where he puts it because at his 9 month well baby checkup he was only 17 pounds (29" long, and in the 95% for his head). He is still a little peanut but I have a feeling he will be having a growth spurt here before long. He regularly eats as much as Jace does at meals. I love watching him eat though because he does a little hungry dance where he throws his arms in the air and looks like he is trying out some new-age dance move. He cracks me up. The little turkey refuses to take formula (no matter how I have tried to disguise it), but is now warming up to the idea of drinking milk. I know he isn't a year old yet but he weaned himself.
He is good at crying wolf. Shane loves to carry him around (even though I have given him numerous time-outs for doing so), and whenever Brett feels Shane lifting he immediatly starts to cry. Jace loves to drag him by his feet (for which he has also recieved spankings and time-outs), and whenever Jace enters the ROOM he starts to scream. Babies are so smart! :) I guess that wouldn't be crying wolf; more like self preservation.
He is a momma's boy. We went to a Rockie's game a few months ago and I asked my SIL to hold him so that I could use the bathroom, and when I came back the entire sections began cheering. I guess he has screamed the entire time. I left a short time later and asked Travis to hold him and he did the same thing. I felt so bad! He loves to snuggle and be held. Thank goodness for the Bjorn or I would get nothing done.
He loves baths. Whenever he hears the water running in the tub he hightails it up the stairs and starts giggling when he rounds the corner of the bathroom. He likes them even more when he doesn't have to take them with big brother (the whole self-preservation thing). He would probably stay in the water forever if I let him.
I love to see him clap. Whenever anyone says "Yea!", even if it isn't for him, he drops what he is doing, gets a big gappy grin on his face and claps his hands. He loves to do this and I love it when he does.
Well, I just wanted to prove to myself that I am not a total horrible excuse for a mother. I will post pictures once I am able to get on the computer where the pictures are saved.

And he is one extremely handsome little boy. I need to get me one of those!
Megan started drinking milk a month before her 1st birthday too...mostly b/c I was done buying formula...and smelling it. :) She turned out fine... :) These darn kids need to learn not to wean themselves though! Here's hoping for better luck with number 2...
The crying wolf sounds familiar, Chanse would scream if he saw you coming.
I don't know if you have heard of or tried vanilla yogurt but that is how I got lane to take formula and eventually milk. all kids are so different huh. so how do you like your new area. I'm jeleous I want to be in CO. It is so much cooler than saying we live in ID. Thought I do like it here. It will do for now. YOur kids are growing so fast. Take care Roz
