It was so much fun though and I think that the kids had a good time playing bean bag throw into the dump truck, pin the wheel on the truck, the hokey-pokey, and car, car, car, truck (duck, duck, goose :)). We had great weather so the kids ran around outside for the most part. Shane invited Lily (his cousin) and 6 of his friends from pre-school and church. I found Jace double fisting it into the cake when I came back in the house. That kids loves his sugar and man is he sneaky. A couple of weeks ago we hosted a party for the final game of the NCAA men's basketball tournament and someone had brought over a plate of cookies to share. I wonder how many cookies that kid had because I was constantly taking a new one away from him. One of my friends caught him behind the counter and asked him, "Are you hiding from your mom?" He looked up at her with a new cookie in his hand, smiled, and said, "YES!"Travis is out of town this week on business so I get to have the kids all day...all by myself. I love my children but I gotta admit that I really count on the time when Travis comes home and I can have a little "timeout". I am trying to get my kitchen cabinets painted while he is gone. I know that this is quite a project to take on but I have been wanting the color changed since we moved in. Hopefully I won't totally wreck them, but I don't think that they could be much worse. Someday when we are rich, I can redo the kitchen the way that I really want. Someday...

Looks like a really fun party! Also, it looks like Shane has lots of cute girl friends...you'll have to watch out for him as he gets older!! Also, I'm so jealous of your backyard!
We miss you guys and can't wait to see you this summer!
The cake turned out SO CUTE! I'm hiring you for our next birthday party. ;) Looks like the kids had a ton of fun, I know Lil did.
Hey Allie...I just thinking of you and your fam the other day. Well, firstly it's probably a lot warmer in Colorado right now and I'm a little jealous. Steve and I have been itching to play games, can we come over & play? Looks like Shane had a great party and good job on the cake...it's really awesome.
Hey, how do you make a cluster of pictures like that? It's a great way to show many within a small space. Love reading all about your fam....we sure miss you. Are you coming to Alaska to visit any time soon? Keep in touch.
That cake is awesome too! You are so creative! Tori had a great time too, and Tiff--don't worry about the cute girls, Shane is already promised to mine! HA! (Heck, maybe we should just go with Jace and Liz too, make the in law thing easy!)
Looks like fun. Wish we could have been there!
Allie, your boys are so cute! I miss Shane coming up to me a church and telling me that he loves my baby. It is hard to believe that he is 4, and Jace is getting so big. Brett is adorable, I love his drinking shirt. Jimmy and I were talking the other day about games, and we need a new two or more person one (you got us hooked on games in our spare time) do you have any suggestions?
