Thanksgiving in Chicago

All of us (it was COLD) with the Chicago skyline

We decided that because we don't have to take a 6 hour plane ride to reach Chicago why not torture ourselves even more and drive? It really wasn't a bad drive at all considering the fact that the boys slept the whole time. Trav and I really just prefer to drive at night when the boys are sleeping. We are dead the next day but it really saves the headaches of stopping every 2 hours so someone can use the bathroom. We had good weather the whole way which is always a concern when you drive across the midwest in November.

We had a great time while we were there and we were lucky enough to get to see Haley too. She lives 5 hours away in Ohio and since she wasn't going anywhere for Thanksgiving she spent it with us. Imagine 5 boys under 5 and you will know just how much fun we had. :)

We played lots of games (of course), went into Chicago a couple of times, ate good food and got all of our Christmas shopping done on Black Friday (thank you Jackie). I will break up the pictures a little so that I will be able to post more of them.
