Jace really wanted these shark cupcakes for his birthday party. Perhaps because the sharks themselves were twinkies covered in frosting on top of a cupcake covered in frosting! A.k.a lots of sugar....just right for Jace. Travis has made it a tradition of taking the day off of work and spending it with the birthday boy. He takes them to lunch and then to a movie where they get popcorn and their OWN drink. This year they saw the Tale of Despereaux. While they were gone I was able to finish the cupcakes. I love this time because I am able to do it quickly without little fingers "helping me".
Nana and Papa Monson were in town for Ronan's blessing so it was great that they were able to be here for his party. The highlight of his gifts was a GIANT container of cheese balls which he got from Nana and Papa Monson. On second thought, maybe it wasn't great that they were here :-).
