Lately Brett has been babbling a lot. He said momma and Dada a long time ago, but now we can make out a lot more of what he is saying. His most recent have been "baby, ball, doggie, car, shoe, down, up, and cat." However whenever Brett makes any new sound at all (mostly gibberish) it becomes a major event.
Shane and Jace both will congratulate him and then turn to us and say ,"Mom, Brett just said his first word." I smile and say, "What did he say?" Shane and Jace repeat whatever sort of nonsense he said and then wait for me to congratulate him too. Gotta love those kids! :)
